Goldmali

GOLDMALI UNDER GREY SKIES
"Forest"

Malinois dog, d.o.b. 10th September 2023

Red with black mask

Sire: Santee Sioux at Goldmali
Dam: Champion Goldmali Over The Rainbow VW

Breeder: Marianne Brett

Forest is a beautiful dog, a bit like an improved version of his mother Bambi. He's also very soft and loving, and gets on well with dogs that he knows.
He loves posing for photos, knowing that when the camera has gone off he will get a treat!
However, sadly Forest has issues with being anxious which makes him reactive towards unknown dogs and people, and he only fully trusts one single person: Marianne.
(But he also loves John and Richard.)
We're attending force free training classes with Pawsitive Pooches for Lindsey Jarvis and Forest has improved a LOT.
He may or may not become a show dog one day, but the main thing is that he is living a happy life as a much loved pet.
Forest is the closest bond Marianne has had with a Malinois since Ripley. Malinois choose their own people.

It took him 4 sessions to feel brave enough to jump onto the rock but he did it in the end!
