HIGHLIGHTS OF 2019:
8th of December: Pauline Jackson's Wish (G. Kismet) is top UK dog all divisions in K9 Frisbee Toss & Fetch!
9th of November: Diane Botting and Boris (G. Keepsake) took part in their first ever Scentwork UK trial
where they passed level 1 with a clean sweep and 99/100 points.
27th of October: Christine Smith's Bliss (G. Kiss From A Rose) will be taking part in the YKC Flyball
at Crufts 2020 with Christine's granddaughter.
26th of October: Lucy Toyne with Walter (G. Opportunity Nox) and Rosa (G. I Have A Dream) competed in agility at Dog Vegas.
Walter placed 9th in the Helter Skelter out of 70 dogs and a combined grade 1-7 course.
Rosa placed 2nd in Jumping and 1st in Agility and won out of grade 1 and into grade 2 at only her second KC show.
19th of October: Northern BSD Club Open show. Bambi RBB and RBOB. Rona BV.
13th of October: Lucy Toyne took Rosa and Walter (G. I Have A Dream and G. Opportunity Nox) to SIT Dog Training's charity agility show. Rosa gained 2 x 1st and a 2nd, Walter 2 x 2nd's and a 3rd.
6th of October: Lucy Toyne with Walter and Rosa went to Agility Antics. Rosa placed 1st place in Agility and 2nd place qualifier in Steeplechase and Walter was 3rd in steeplechase 2.
October: Alison Pell and Leah (G. Innocent Eyes) took part in the ABC agility at Discover Dogs, and qualified for Crufts.
27th of September: Lucy Toyne with Walter (G. Opportunity Nox) and Rosa (G. I Have A Dream) competed in agility at Dog Vegas.
Rosa placed 1st in Jumping and 2nd in agility, Walter 1st in agility
14th of September: Darlington Championship Show. Rona Best Veteran of 2. Rex just got a 2nd of 2 in LD.
8th of September: Brian Patchett and Merlin (G. Never Ending Story) competed in Rally and achieved a Level 4
excellent score of 191 at Newton Heath DTC.
At UKA agility Lucy Toyne with Rosa (G. I Have A Dream) gained a 2nd in Jumping and came 5th in Agility.
26th of August: Brian Patchett and Merlin (G. Never Ending Story) competed in Rally at Lune Valley and gained
their third excellent score of 191 and as a result won out of level 2. They followed that with a qualifying score of 180 in level 3.
25th of August: Brian Patchett and Merlin (G. Never Ending Story) achieved a 4th place in Obedience Beginners at Wakefield.
Hannah Houldsworth and Ernie (G. Moon River) competed in agility at Thirsk and won both their classes taking them to grade 5.
Ernie11th of August: We were shocked and so sad to learn that Jan Ralph of the Bonvivant BSD (all four varieties) passed away.
Jan was our most passionate Malinois breeder/exhibitor and she will be missed.
9th of August: Karen Denton and Zelda (G. Kalinka) gained the first ever Excellent score
to be awarded in a Scentwork UK Level 7 trial.
5th of August: Jacky Walker's Goldmali Kaylee came 3rd in flyball at Scarborough with team Rockets
and received her Advanced flyball award.
Sarah Trigwell and Jago (G. Lightning) gained another certificate in Man Trailing.
Jago4th of August: Brian Patchett and Merlin achieved an Excellent qualifying score of 195 in Rally Level 3
and were placed 2nd at Blackpool.
20th/21st of July: Brian Patchett and Merlin (G. Never Ending Story) competed in Rally at Haxey and achieved
a qualifying score in both level 3 &4 on the Saturday and on the Sunday a qualifying score in level 4
and an excellent qualifying score and sixth place in level 3.
Sarah Trigwell and Tye (G. Obsession) placed 2nd in agility.
And on the 20th we said goodbye to our lovely old boy Z (G. Bohemian Rhapsody).
Tye15th of June: Petra (Goldmali Icon) passed her KC Good Citizen Bronze test with Derek West.
15th of June: Northern BSD Club Championship Show. Rex 1st in LD (of one) and graded Excellent. Mats 2nd of 2 in OD and graded Excellent. Rona 2nd of 2 in VB but also graded Excellent.
9th of June: Something a bit different! The Parti Poodle Club held their first ever show. Both an open show and a fun show,
so we went along with Lottie, met lots of Poodles of lots of different colours and sizes, all just as friendly and happy as Lottie is,
entered the fun classes and got a 4th. It was a lovely relaxed and very different day for us!
May/June: Joanne Apostolou and Zulte (G. I Believe I Can Fly) won Grade 6 agility twice.
28th of May: Jacky Walker's G. Kaylee competed in Flyball at Eggborough and she and her team mates in the Rockets
won Division 2. Kaylee also earned her Flyball Graduate award.
11th of May: Brian Patchett and Merlin (G. Never Ending Story) competed in obedience at Wirral Alsatian TS and won first in pre-beginners.
9th of May: Birmingham National Championship show. We only entered Rona who just got a 2nd in VB.
27th of April: Brian Patchett and Merlin (G. Never Ending Story) competed in obedience and achieved a second in pre-beginners
at an inter club obedience competition at Newton Heath DTC.
6th/7th of April: Brian Patchett and Merlin (G. Never Ending Story) competed in Rally in Wales.
They received Excellent scores in Level 1-2 and won out into Level 2, and they gained two qualifying scores in Level 2,
one of which was Excellent with 208 points out of 210!
31st of March: Brian Patchett and Merlin (G. Never Ending Story) competed in Rally at FIT Dogs
and gained an Excellent qualify in Level 1 with 193 points and an Excellent qualifying score of 202 in Level 2.
8th of March: CRUFTS. Rex 1st in LD (of one) and GCD (also of one). Bambi 2nd of 3 in PGB. Ritzy 2nd of 2 in LB and 1st of 1 in GCB.
It wasn't our year! I had a bad back and couldn't do Discover Dogs but the lovely Heather Weideman and Lupa did.
2nd of March: Brian Patchett and Merlin (G. Never Ending Story) competed in Obedience
at Reedyford DTC and achieved a 3rd in pre-beginners.
23rd of February: Newark & DCS Open show. Rex RBOB.
17th of February: Matlock & DCS Open show. Bambi wins Best of Breed Malinois. (G. Over The Rainbow)
2nd/3rd of February: Brian Patchett and Goldmali Never Ending Story "Merlin":
27th of January: Brian Patchett and Merlin (G. Never Ending Story) competed in Obedience at Lune Valley
and won 3rd in pre-beginners as well as being awarded Best AOV.
17th of January: Manchester Championship Show. Rex 1st LD of 1, Rona 2nd of 2 in VB.
4th of January: Boston Championship Show. Rex RBD and Ritzy RBB.
